Herbal Dewormer Giveaway from Earth Song Ranch

Hi Folks!

Earlier this week, I published Jessica Lynn’s guest post on Herbs and Natural Parasite Control and mentioned there would be a giveaway coming shortly. Well, here it is!

Earth Song Ranch is giving away a two pound bag of their Herbal Wormer, which retails for $65. Below is a description of the product.

esr-herbal-wormer

The Earth Song Ranch Herbal Wormer is a non-chemical alternative to what you might have been using!  Herbs are powerful, especially when blended together for different kinds of parasites, and their healing properties have been used for centuries. We’ve been making this blend for 15 years now, and many of our customers’ horses have been parasite free for up to 3 to 5 years, before they even need to use a half dose of Ivermectin. This includes my own horses too!

All of the ingredients are powdered herbs, some wild crafted, some organic, and it contains 140m of cayenne pepper. Don’t take a big whiff or you will be clearing your sinuses! It is a labor of love when I blend this product, and I have to wear a face mask and goggles or I am sneezing and choking, but the horses love it.  It does not contain black walnut.

To enter the giveaway, all you need to do is leave one comment below, telling why you’d like a chance to win this product. A random winner will be chosen on Monday, October 24th.
This contest is open to U.S. and Canadian residents only and remember, only ONE comment per person.

Good luck!

I would love this wormer. I have a very special needs horse with PSSM and terrible allergies and chemical wormer can stress him and cause a tying up episode. I’ve tried DE and ACV but still find I need to do the chemical wormer twice per year. I would love to give this a try!

  2. Regina says:

I would love to win this because I like to “keep it natural” with my horses. Natural is always my first go to. Thank you.

  3. Lisa Hiley says:

I’ve been interested in switching from traditional dewormers for a while now. Our small, self-contained herd would probably do well on an herbal regimen and I’d love to give it a try.

  4. Laura Stachel says:

I have an immune compromised mare, and am currently striving to detox her system and go natural in as many ways possible. This would truly help us both out!

Hello I just got a baby filly that is club footed and was full of worms in fact some of the round worms were larger than my husbands hand. This is the first time seeing this product I would have loved to have used it for her! Instead of the paste we had to use. She was so sick she colic’ed twice once before we wormed her and again when they started leaving her body! She is 5 months old and we have taken her in.. She is supposed to go to a farrier school soon so they can apply toe extensions to help correct her hoof. She is the sweetest baby I would love a chance at this for her and also I will definitely tell every horse owner I know about this win or lose .. Better than those processed chemicals no matter what our horses health is the most important thing there is!

My parents would have loved this product! We had a big herd of horses. My parents preferred to use herbal and natural products for all of our livestock. I prefer it too, for horses and people. I think my other horse-owning friends would love it too. We want our horses healthy.

All the equines at Whisper Ranch Sanctuary could use this!

  13. Barb Kitts says:

To be honest, I have never heard of this before. I am currently using DE36, a diatomaceous earth product granulated and sold for parasite control. I loathe the chemical poisons, and am preparing to do a fecal sample on all 3 of my furbabies. If the DE36 does not show good results, this is something I would definitely be interested in trying, and to win a sample would be a terrific start.

  14. A Hyde says:

Thanks for this opportunity! I have not used herbal dewormer on my horses and want to try this. Even if I do not win this herbal dewormer giveaway, I will be purchasing some! Give aways like this help many to move away from the chemical dewormers and that is a wonderful thing for our equine!

  15. Abby says:

I have never used a natural dewormer before, but feel like it would be a safer and more gentle method of deworming my 28 year old gelding and would love the opportunity to give it a try.

  16. Stacey says:

I love my horses and always want the best for them. I have been looking for an alternative to chemical wormers for quite some time now. I feel as though this is the missing link to my natural regimen.. My horses eat a very natural diet, get a decent amount of turnout and are kept barefoot…This would be wonderful to try. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to win. 🙂

  17. Jill Mora says:

I would LOVE a chance to try this on my horse! I hate using the chemical products because my horse is insulin resistant and has bad reactions sometime with them. I prefer using herbal remedies whenever possible.

  18. Vicki L Ciepiela says:

Hi Cassie, My horses are my babies and I want what is best for them as does everyone that owns horses does I’m sure. I don’t like using chemicals if I can keep from it, so that is why I do fecal counts every three months instead of just blindly worming. An herbal dewormer would be great to try!! Thank you Vicki

  19. Rebecca Firth says:

I answered a question a while back “Why do I feed a GMO free wholefood to my horses?” My answer, “I’d rather not have a scientist decide what i should feed my horses prehistoric digestive system, but mother nature.” A natural dewormer for my sensitive horses digestion? Yes please!!

  20. Debbie Allwine says:

Best way to nurture is through nature!

  24. Cathy Barber says:

It is so confusing these days trying to do the best thing for your horse when it comes to worming. I think we all know now that worming every two months is not necessary and can actually harm your horse. Then you have to figure out which wormer to use. My horse won’t eat DE so it would be great to try the herbal dewormer.

  25. Debra Pettis says:

I would like to try this natural wormer because it sounds very effective.De

I have a senior gelding with a lot of health issues that I have introduced a lot of herbal remedies into his diet…They all seem to be helping so an herbal wormer would really be awesome to add…Thanks you for doing this!!!

  29. Vickie Anderson says:

I have a senior mare that is metabolic. She was born with a club foot and keeping her sound has been a challenge. Between barefoot trimming, carefully monitoring her diet (pasture that is more forage than grass has been miraculous) and keeping things as natural as possible, I am finding that she has many more good years ahead. Your product looks like the perfect addition to her health care routine.

  32. pat draper says:

Would like the wormer because the horse we need it for come in from Auctions or are not wanted anymore, so it is hard to know the health of each and the natural to worm is the best.

  46. Angela Matusko says:

I have used this in the past. Best product ever. All my boy’s fecals came back negative, while pasturemates did not. I’ve always recommended this product to anyone who will listen. Thank you for this natural product. Less chemicals means better health. At 26 years old, my boy needs all the natural alternatives I can find.

My daughter has a 21 yr. old barrel horse that is an extremely hard keeper. When using conventional wormers he quits eating completely, which causes weight loss that he cannot afford. The end result prevents him from participating in a job he LOVES. The answer is YES, he would love to try your wormer.

  50. I have not heard of your product before but would love to try it. I have 2 Morgan mares, 32 yo and 12 yo. For 12 yrs I have used burdock as my dewormer and it has worked well, but I’m always up for something better.

  54. Marie Lovesy says:

    Hi
We’d love to give this a try for our mare with Cushings but on a grander scale we’d like to show an old school barn owner that herbs can be just as effective, if not more so, than chemical deworming that only serve to create more and more resistant parasites.

  59. Hi ! Thank you for the opportunity for this giveaway. I am currently fostering 2 ponies with a resistant strain of parasites. I would love to give this a try!

I volunteer for a horse rescue in Dublin .CA with Horses Healing Hearts and am working toward owning my own sanctuary which will be totally holistic, horses would be barefoot, have organic feed, will have piped in music for therapy, as well as a smorgasbord of natural methods of healing both them and owners. Trying a holistic dewormer would be awesome!

I run a non-profit equine rehab and rehoming program (aka rescue, but I try not to use that word very often). We are committed to quality natural care for the horses here. Always looking to try new products but our limited budget makes purchasing products just to try difficult. Once we find something we feel is appropriate for the herd, our focus is to make sure we raise funds for that superior product. We are hoping to be able to try this product. Thank you for your consideration.
