    I have had 2 different horses contract a bowed tendon. For sure, it is a long recovery period. I used homeopaths (helped by my holistic vet) arnica, rhus tox, ruta grav, and another one I can’t remember! It’s good to employ patience with this injury. I found it took longer the first time because I kept staring at it every day. The second time it happened, I let it heal without staring. It took much less time.
